JOB DETAILS:
The Zambia Tourism Agency (ZTA) is a Statutory Body established under the Tourism and Hospitality Act No. 13 of 2015. The Act mandates the Zambia Tourism Agency to effectively market and promote Zambia as a tourism and travel destination of choice and to regulate the tourism industry.
VACANCY
The Zambia Tourism Agency wishes to invite suitably qualified and experienced Zambian nationals to fill the following position:
Reporting to the Head Finance, as Accounts Intern, you will gain valuable hands-on experience in accounting operations and financial reporting. You will support the Finance team with a range of tasks, including assisting in the verification of company assets and ensuring accuraterecord-keeping.
Principle Accountabilities:
* Assist in the verification and reconciliation of company assets across various departments.
* Support daily bookkeeping and accounting processes.
* Assist with Preparing financial reports and documentation as required.
* Assist with account reconciliations and bank statements.
* Help maintain accurate and organized financial records.
* Participate in audits and inventory counts.
* Perform other duties as assigned by the Head Finance.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Full Grade Twelve (12) School Certificate
* A recent graduate in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
* Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, Particularly Excel and Word
* Able to maintain confidentiality
* Able to write technical and analytical reports
* Computer literate
* Interpersonal skills
