JOB DETAILS:
Education & Certification:
- Trade certificate or diploma in Boiler making/Metal Fabrication or equivalent.
- Welding certifications (e.g., MIG, TIG, arc welding) are often required.
- Knowledge of safety standards (OSHA or local equivalent).
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications.
- Skilled in assembling, installing, and repairing boilers, tanks, pressure vessels, and piping systems.
- Strong knowledge of metal fabrication, cutting, bending, and welding techniques.
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery safely.
- Good understanding of industrial safety practices and procedures.
- Physical fitness for heavy lifting and working in confined spaces or at heights.
