A foreign-owned Construction and Civil Engineering Company is seeking two vibrant individuals to join our team as Assistant Surveyors at our road project site in Batoka, Southern Province.

Job Title: Assistant Surveyor
Location: Batoka, Southern Province, Zambia
Job Type: Contractual
Number of Positions: 2
Salary: K4,000 - K5,000 (with bonus and increment based on performance)

Job Description:
The Assistant Surveyors will support project development by handling surveyor-related tasks for our ongoing road project in Batoka. This role requires precision, technical expertise, and a willingness to work in a demanding environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in conducting surveys to support road project development.
  • Perform elevation surveying to ensure accurate project measurements.
  • Utilize GPS systems for precise mapping and data collection.
  • Collaborate with the project team to ensure survey data aligns with project requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of survey data and provide reports as needed.

Requirements:

  • Grade 12 Certificate.
  • Strong understanding of Elevation Surveying techniques.
  • In-depth knowledge of GPS systems.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a similar role within the construction industry, with traceable references.
  • Willingness to work long hours and on weekends when required.
