JOB DETAILS:
Education & Certification:
- Diploma or trade certificate in Mechanical Engineering/Fitting.
- Supervisory or leadership training is an advantage.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Strong mechanical fitting knowledge (assembly, installation, maintenance of mechanical systems and equipment).
- Ability to plan, allocate tasks, and supervise a team of fitters and technicians.
- Competence in reading mechanical drawings, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Skilled in diagnosing mechanical faults and implementing corrective actions.
- Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance practices.
- Strong leadership, communication, and reporting skills.
- Understanding of workplace safety and ability to enforce safety standards.
