JOB DETAILS:

Job Overview:
The Driver (Trucks) will be responsible for operating tipper trucks for transporting construction materials, debris, and other goods as required by the Engineering Department. The role requires adherence to safety regulations and the proper maintenance of assigned vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain tipper trucks safely and efficiently.
• Transport materials and equipment to designated locations.
• Conduct routine checks and ensure roadworthiness of the truck.
• Comply with all traffic laws and Council policies.
• Report mechanical faults to the relevant authorities.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Full Form V/Grade 12 School Certificate.
• Valid Driver’s License (Class CE).
• At least 1 year of experience operating a tipper truck.
• Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and safety procedures.

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 12

Level of Education: professional certificate
