JOB DETAILS:

Job Purpose:
To install, repair, and maintain piping systems, fixtures, and other plumbing equipment used for water distribution, drainage, and waste disposal in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. The Plumber will ensure all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems.
• Install, repair, and maintain pipes, supports, and fixtures (sinks, toilets, showers, water heaters, etc.).
• Assemble and install valves, pipe fittings, and pipes composed of various materials (copper, PVC, PEX, etc.).
• Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes, and fixtures in walls and floors.
• Cut openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipes and pipe fittings.
• Test pipe systems for leaks using air and water pressure gauges.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople on the construction site.
• Respond to emergency service calls for repairs.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Proven experience as a Plumber (minimum 3-5 years preferred).
• Valid plumbing license/certification as required by local/state regulations.
• Journeyman or Master Plumber status is a plus.
• In-depth knowledge of water distribution, drainage systems, and maintenance.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to handle physical labor, including lifting heavy objects, working in confined spaces, and standing for long periods.
• Own a full set of plumbing tools.
