Job Summary:
A company in Kalulushi Central is seeking four qualified Electricians to maintain and repair electrical systems at our industrial site. The Electricians will ensure the reliability and safety of electrical equipment, supporting uninterrupted operations in a demanding environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and equipment in an industrial setting.
- Troubleshoot electrical faults and perform repairs to minimize downtime.
- Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems to identify and address potential issues.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and regulations at all times.
- Work on electrical components of machinery, such as loaders and other industrial equipment.
- Collaborate with maintenance teams to support overall site operations.
- Maintain accurate records of electrical repairs, maintenance, and inspections.
- Assist in the installation of new electrical systems or upgrades as required.
- Respond to emergency electrical issues promptly to ensure operational continuity.
- Follow safety protocols to protect yourself and others while working with electrical systems.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an electrician in an industrial or mining environment.
- Valid electrician certification or trade test certificate from a recognized institution.
- Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, including troubleshooting and repairs.
- Familiarity with electrical safety standards and regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and diagrams.
- Physical ability to work in demanding conditions, including climbing and working at heights.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail in electrical work.
- Must be based in or willing to relocate to Kalulushi Central, Copperbelt Province.
- Serious and committed attitude, as emphasized by the employer.
