Job Description:
The Boomer Operator will operate Boomer 282 drilling machines underground, ensuring accurate drilling and adherence to safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct pre-start inspections to ensure the machine is in good condition.
• Drill holes accurately according to the drilling pattern.
• Perform regular maintenance checks on drilling equipment.
• Follow drilling plans and ensure proper hole alignment.
• Adhere to safety and operational procedures (SOP).

Qualifications:

• Grade 12 School Certificate.
• Valid Boomer Operator Certificate (Boomer 282).
• Minimum 3 years’ experience operating boomers underground.
• Valid MSD Certified Blasting License.

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 36

Level of Education: professional certificate
