JOB DETAILS:

Job Description:
The LHD Operator will operate Load-Haul-Dump (LHD) machines to transport ore and waste materials underground, ensuring safety and maintaining clear roadways.

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand and follow safety standards for operating large equipment.
• Meet hauling and loading targets.
• Make sharp decisions under pressure.
• Adhere to safety regulations to prevent unsafe actions.
• Keep roads in working areas clean and free of hazards.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications:

• Grade 12 School Certificate.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Loader Operator on:
  • Sandvik Loaders (LH514 and LH517)
  • Scooptram ST 1030
  • Caterpillar R1600 G & H
• Valid MSD Certified Blasting License.

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 36

Level of Education: professional certificate
