JOB DETAILS:

Assist the Tyre Team with the removal and refitting of tyres for Zalawi trailers and Horses as per the daily workshop schedule in accordance with the standard operating procedures. 

Responsibilities

• Repairing, replacing and fitting horse and trailer tyres. 
• Performing tyre diagnostics (checking tyre condition, pressure and tread depth)
• Removing and refitting of tyres. 
• Adjustment of tyre pressure.
• Checking and adjusting wheel balance, alignment and rotation
• Dismounting and mounting of tyres ready for pumping
• Ensure that the trailer and Horse have the correct spare tyres. 
• Handling of pump sheet and tyre change slip.
•  Off-loading and loading new and old tyres.
•  Storage of new and scrap tyres.
• Conduct daily alignment checks and reports.

Skills

• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in vehicle maintenance

Requirements

• Full grade 12 certificate
• Communication and interpersonal skills 
• Technical skills in similar environment 
• 1 to 2 years’ experience in a similar environment

Experience in Months: 12

Level of Education: professional certificate
