Position Details
Job Title: Accountant
Employment Type: Full-time
Salary: ZMW 9,000 gross per month

Key Requirements
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
• Education: Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience: A minimum of 2 years of practical experience in accounting or a similar role.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel.
• Personal Attributes:
o Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
o Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail.
o Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
o Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities
As an Accountant, you will:
1. Prepare and maintain financial records, including journals, ledgers, and financial statements.
2. Reconcile bank accounts and ensure accurate record-keeping.
3. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
4. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
5. Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
6. Handle payroll processing and tax submissions.
7. Support the audit process by providing necessary documentation and reports.
8. Identify areas for financial improvement and recommend solutions.
