Role Description

The Accountant will be responsible for managing daily financial records, reconciliations, reporting, and ensuring accuracy in all financial transactions.

Key duties include:

• Maintaining accurate accounting records.
• Preparing financial reports
• Performing bank, cash and loan reconciliations.
• Monitoring customer accounts and financial transactions
• Supporting budgeting and financial planning.
• Assisting with compliance and audit requirements.
• Providing financial insights to support business decisions.

Qualifications & Skills

• Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Experience in accounting, microfinance, banking or financial services preferred.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting and reconciliations.
• Good understanding of financial controls and compliance.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• High level of integrity and professionalism.
• Should be a Chirundu resident or residing near Chirundu.
