• Daily transaction accounting for wallets, payouts, merchant collections and lending ledgers.
• Reconciliations of payment rails, bank accounts and third-party processors; investigate and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in line with IFRS and statutory requirements.
• Oversee accounting operations including accounts payable, receivable, payroll, reconciliations, and petty cash.
• Ensure accurate and timely filing of taxes (VAT, PAYE, Withholding Tax) in compliance with Zambian tax laws.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure timely closure of findings.
• Strengthen internal controls and financial management systems.
• Analyse data to support budgeting, forecasting, and business strategy.
• Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff.
• Collaborate across departments to improve efficiency and accountability.

• Strong grasp of IFRS and Zambian tax laws.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, or Sage) and advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with ZRA Smart Invoice, merchant reconciliations, and ERP systems.
• Excellent analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
• Integrity, initiative, and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.

• Full Grade 12 Certificate.
• Full ACCA, CIMA, or ZICA qualification (mandatory).
• ZICA membership (mandatory).
• 4 – 7 years’ experience in auditing, accounting or finance.
• Experience in a fintech or technology-driven organisation is an advantage.
