JOB DETAILS:

Weaverbird Technology Services Limited is looking for an Assistant Accountant to join our team. The suitable candidate will be responsible for the following:

Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings

Reconcile accounts payable and receivable

Compute taxes and prepare tax returns

Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements

Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary

Comply with financial policies and regulations

Collaborate with Financial Managers and other team members to successfully execute various accounting tasks.
Maintain company ledgers and daily financial transactions.
Create financial documents such as bills, invoices, pay-orders, payables, receivables and purchase orders.
Identify discrepancies in ledgers and accounts, tracking them to the source and correcting them.
Receiving payment for clients
Coordinate and manage payment and billing details of external service providers, contractors
Verify payments and deposits made through the company account and coordinate with the bank.
Create daily reports for management and team members.

Qualification

Diploma in accounting or related fields
3-5years experience in accounting

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 36

Level of Education: bachelor degree
