Job Overview:
Our company is looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Clerk to join our team on a 1-year contract. The ideal candidate will support the Senior Accountant by ensuring accurate data collection, financial documentation, and inventory management. This role requires proficiency in Sage Evolution, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work under pressure. If you have a background in Accounting, Bookkeeping, or Procurement, and are affiliated with ZICA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPS, or ZIPS, we encourage you to apply.

Reporting Structure
Reports to: Senior Accountant
Interacts with: All Departments

Responsibilities And Duties
• Collecting data for farming resource operations (SIVs).
• Ensuring all SIVs and GRNs are checked and correctly allocated to projects per SOP.
• Capturing machine hours and fuel allocations in Sage.
• Participating in stock counts and reporting concerns to the accountant.
• Invoicing cash and staff debt.
• Ensuring timely and accurate documentation.
• Performing any other duties as assigned by Management.
• Assist in any other duties deemed fit by your line supervisor.

Required Skills/Abilities
– Full Grade 12 Certificate
– Prior on-the-job training is an advantage.
– Knowledge of the inventory cycle.
– Strong analytical and communication skills.
– Ability to work accurately under pressure and meet deadlines.

Technical Proficiency:
– Proficient in Sage Evolution and Microsoft Office.
– Experience with PC and accounting software.
