JOB DETAILS:
1. Act as an ambassador and information source for the project in the communities.
2. Provide agricultural extension and technical support to farmers
3. Mobilize and work with community leaders, project facilitators and community members
in the project areas to drive processes for effective implementation of the project.
4. Facilitating and conducting capacity building activities (trainings, sensitizations /awareness
rising, mentoring and coaching sessions) for project facilitators, lead farmers, groups and
households to equip them with modern agricultural techniques and skills to improve crop
production in the communities.
5. Conduct project implementation monitoring to measure project results and identify gaps
that need to be addressed.
6. Coordinate on-going engagements with relevant stakeholders including Ministry of
Agriculture, traditional leaders and community members during project implementation.
7. Provide support for Facilitators and lead farmers in their communities
8. Support the holding of Quarterly Review and Planning meetings for facilitators and lead
farmers to ensure efficiency in the implementation of the project.
9. Produce activity reports and tracking of project deliverables against the set indicators.

Preferred qualities/ Abilities for candidates
• Young and vibrant person (aged between 25 & 35 years Old)
• Have basic ICT Skills in Excel and Word
• Have report writing skills
• Possess facilitation skills
• Able to work independently without close supervision
• Able to ride a Motorbike with a valid rider’s license

Qualifications:
• Updated CV
• Grade 12 certificate
• Diploma, or better in Agriculture or Agriculture Business
• At least 2 years’ experience working in a related field

Experience in Months: 24

Level of Education: Postgraduate Degree
