JOB DETAILS:
Sabot Zambia Limited, a trusted cross border hauling company with proven record of enabling its customers' success by delivering of superior service through cost-effective, reliable, safe and efficient movement of cargo while creating value through operating efficiencies and continuous improvement initiatives, is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill the following positions at Kitwe Depot:
Assistant Accountant
Main Responsibilities
- Posting daily financial transactions, bills and payments into accounting software
- Tracking and reviewing of Invoices and process payments for vendors bills
- Update general financial records
- Support routine reconciliation of accounts
- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Undertake periodic verification of assets to enhance assets accounting
- Statutory Accounts Reporting-PAYE, NAPSA
- Ensure that accounting reports are accurate and reported on time
- Perform any other duties assigned by superiors
Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma/Degree in relevant accountancy study program (e.g. ZICA, CIMA, ACCA)
- Must be a member of ZICA
- Grade 12 Certificate
- At least two years post-qualification experience
- Experience in the transport industry, an added advantage
Work Hours: 8
Experience in Months: 24
Level of Education: postgraduate degree
