JOB DETAILS:
Job Purpose
The Assistant Credit Manager will assist in managing arrears, coordinating recoveries, and ensuring the overall performance of the arrears unit. The role involves setting and tracking performance targets, reporting to senior management, and implementing arrears management strategies.

Key Responsibilities
• Oversee and monitor the organization’s arrears portfolio and implement recovery strategies.
• Coordinate activities of the arrears management unit.
• Prepare and submit reports on arrears management performance.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures for effective debt recovery.
• Work closely with stakeholders to minimize arrears and improve loan repayment rates.

Qualifications and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least three (3) years of experience in credit management or debt recovery.
• Strong knowledge of credit risk management and arrears handling.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
