JOB DETAILS:

Ideal candidate must demonstrate knowledge and experience in managing all round accounting activities Experience with International Organizations; Oversee and manage the completeness and accuracy of the accounting records of the project in Liaison with Finance Manager
• Assist with budget preparation
• Assist with maintaining records of financial transactions by establishing accounts, posting transactions.
• Prepare cash flow forecasts
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports in collaboration with finance Manager
• Record accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Preparation and review of journal entries on a monthly basis
• Review of supporting financial reconciliations
• Manage and control assets
• Comply with ZRA requirements and all statutory obligations and making sure all invoices processed are compliant
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Required Skills and Qualifications.
• Degree in Accounting / Chartered accountant
• Membership with ACCA, CIMA or ZICA is must
• Advanced MS excel skills
• At least 5 -7 year’s working experience in senior finance role
• Experience with International organization in similar capacity is a plus
• Resourceful, creative and innovative approach to work
