Background

Cairo Hotel is inviting applications from suitably qualified, experienced, hardworking, and self-motivated individuals to fill the following positions:

Responsibilities

Operations Management: Oversee day-to-day hotel operations, including front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance.

Staff Supervision: Supervise, train, and schedule departmental staff, conducting performance evaluations and addressing disciplinary issues.

Guest Relations: Handle guest complaints, special requests, and emergencies professionally, ensuring high levels of guest satisfaction.

Financial Oversight: Assist in managing budgets, monitoring revenue and expenses, and controlling costs.

Inventory Management: Oversee stock levels of supplies, linen, and amenities, minimizing waste and ensuring adequate stock.

Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and licensing regulations.

Reporting: Prepare shift reports on occupancy, incidents, and staff performance for the General Manager.

Duty Management: Act as the manager on duty in the absence of the General Manager, handling all operational and guest-related issues.

Qualifications

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Full Grade 12 Certificate.

Relevant academic or professional qualifications for specialised positions.

Previous experience in the hotel or hospitality industry is an added advantage.

Good communication and customer service skills.

Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team.

Applicants must be hardworking, honest, reliable, and self-motivated.
