JOB DETAILS:

Remus Logistics is seeking a qualified and experienced Auto Electrician to join our fleet maintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems in both light and heavy-duty vehicles, ensuring safety, reliability, and compliance with Zambian transport standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Install, maintain, and repair vehicle electrical systems including wiring, lighting, ignition, and battery systems.
• Diagnose faults using specialized diagnostic tools and software.
• Maintain and service alternators, starters, sensors, and electronic control units (ECUs).
• Ensure compliance with Zambian roadworthiness and safety regulations.
• Keep accurate maintenance records and adhere to workshop safety protocols.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Grade 12 Certificate.
• Craft Certificate or Diploma in Auto Electrical or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in automotive electrical systems.
• Familiar with Zambian roadworthiness standards, fuel transport regulations, and safety protocols.
• Must be a Member of Engineering Institution of Zambia.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle urgent issues calmly.
