JOB DETAILS:

Position: Automobile Electrician
Number of Positions: 1
Location: Zambia

Job Summary:
The Automobile Electrician will diagnose, repair, maintain, and install electrical and electronic systems in company vehicles, mobile equipment, and machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose electrical and electronic faults in vehicles and mobile equipment.
• Repair and maintain vehicle wiring systems.
• Install and repair batteries, alternators, starters, lighting systems, and electrical accessories.
• Test vehicle electrical and electronic components.
• Use diagnostic tools to identify faults.
• Carry out preventive electrical maintenance.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance.
• Ensure vehicle electrical systems are safe and reliable.
• Follow workshop safety procedures and manufacturer specifications.

Requirements:

• Relevant certificate or trade qualification in Auto Electrical Engineering.
• Proven experience as an automobile electrician.
• Knowledge of automotive electrical and electronic systems.
• Experience working on heavy-duty or industrial vehicles is an advantage.
• Good diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure.
