JOB DETAILS:

Reporting to the Fleet Supervisor, the successful candidate will be accountable for the following: –

• Ensure availability of serviced good, conditioned delivery vehicles (local and long distant routes).
• Carry out appropriate modifications on delivery vehicles.
• Continuously follow the mechanical service schedules for vehicles.
• Promptly respond to breakdowns.
• Carry out auto-mechanical inspection of all vehicles for condition monitoring
• Compile the relevant reports on transport stocks and repairs.
• Ensure all safety measures are adhered to.
• Ensure that protective clothing is always worn within the plant.
• Maintain the highest level of hygiene within the plant by following the daily/weekly cleaning schedule.

This job is particularly suitable for candidates who meet the following minimum requirements:

• Craft Certificate / Diploma in Automotive Mechanic, Heavy Equipment Repair or Equivalent
• Valid Driver’s License class C
• At least 3 years work experience in related field
• Hardworking, reliable, and trustworthy
• Ability to use a variety of hand tools.

Experience in Months: 36

Level of Education: bachelor degree
