Bancassurance & Alternative Channels Manager
Job Summary

Reporting to the Head of Bancassurance & Alternative Channels, the role includes but not limited to Bancassurance sales management and Pro-actively hunt for target organizations and establish communications with those businesses that can benefit from our Company’s services as well as Identify and develop business opportunities for the Company.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities
Identifying and developing new streams for long term revenue growth, tapping new markets and coordinating with channel partners to penetrate these segments to expand business. Mobilizing and managing business through the assigned lead data.
• Conducting competitor/market analysis by keeping abreast of market trends.
• Meeting sales targets by partnering, managing, and driving channel partners which include Banks, Brokers, Independent Agents, etc.
• Coordinating with other departments to ensure quality customer care in the Special Channels space (Settlement of claims, policy services, new business)
• To constantly interact and build relationships with the hierarchies of all channel partners.
• Managing and motivating Bancassurance and Special Channels staff to increase sales and ensure business efficiency.
• Producing reports on performance, and then measuring these against set indicators and ensuring productivity on a monthly basis.
• Reviewing channel effectiveness and making recommendations for improvement and keeping senior management informed of changes in areas of responsibility.
• Strategizing, planning & implementing new ideas of business. Product launches Sales events and processes enhancement.
• Analyzing training needs with respect to products, behavioral and managerial developing training modules.
• Exercise checks and controls effectively, for disciplined performance.
• Build a competent sales team to achieve sales targets
• Getting implemented company strategies effectively & feedback

Minimum qualifications and experience
• Grade 12 (or equivalent)
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/ Marketing/ Insurance or its equivalent from a recognized institution.
• Diploma in Insurance from AIIK / ACII or its equivalent from a recognized institution; and
• Member of AIIK /ACII or a relevant professional body.
• Minimum of three (3) years’ relevant experience.
