Havana Bar & Restaurant is expanding and is looking for passionate, hardworking, and customer-focused individuals to join our growing team.

Responsibilities or duties

Beverage Preparation: Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standardized recipes (cocktails, mocktails, beers, wines, spirits).

Guest Interaction: Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, taking drink orders and offering recommendations.

Upselling: Suggest premium drinks, specials, and add-ons to enhance the guest experience and increase sales.

Bar Maintenance: Keep the bar area clean, organized, and well-stocked with glassware, garnishes, and supplies.

Inventory Management: Monitor bar inventory and communicate low-stock items to the Manager.

Responsible Service: Check identification to verify age and enforce responsible alcohol service standards.

Payment Processing: Process payments accurately using the POS system, and maintain a balanced cash drawer.

Equipment Maintenance: Operate and clean bar equipment (blenders, juicers, coffee machines).

Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)

Grade 12 Certificate. (CERTIFIED COPY)

NRC (CERTIFIED COPY)

Relevant qualifications or experience for the position applied for.

Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
