Do you excel at managing teams, coordinating workflows, and maintaining high standards across parts inventory and body shop operations? If so, Vroomotive Autobody invites you to join our dynamic team as a Body and Parts Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the auto body repair workshop and parts department.
  • Coordinate and supervise staff, ensuring repairs are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
  • Manage parts procurement, stock levels, and supplier relationships; process orders and returns promptly.
  • Implement cost controls and inventory management protocols for optimal efficiency and minimum wastage.
  • Ensure all repairs and parts usage meet manufacturer and insurance company standards.
  • Liaise with insurance assessors and customers for smooth claims and repair processes.
  • Monitor repair quality, customer satisfaction, and compliance with safety/environmental regulations.
  • Generate departmental performance reports and recommend process improvements.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Diploma or degree in automotive engineering, mechanical engineering, business management, or related field.
  • At least 3 years’ supervisory experience in an automotive workshop or parts department (body shop experience strongly preferred).
  • Proficient with modern estimating software (e.g., Audatex, Mitchell Dr. Smash), inventory management systems, and
  • MS Office Suite.
  • Proven ability to manage staff, workflows, and customer/insurance communications.
  • Excellent organization, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong negotiation skills and attention to detail.
