JOB DETAILS:
should have in-depth knowledge of welding machinery, techniques, and safety protocols. Your responsibilities will include reading and interpreting technical drawings, performing welding and fabrication tasks, and conducting maintenance on welding equipment.
Key Responsibilities
• Fabrication of Cleats
• Fabrication of Purlings and Drilling
• Fabrication of Sag Angles
• Sandblasting and Paint of Fabricated Steel
• Installation of Fabricated Steel Members
• Installation of Roofing Sheets
• Housekeeping

Additional Responsibilities
• Ensure statutory compliance at all times and conduct standard procedure task inspections.
• Carry out welding, cutting, and shaping of metal components to craft standards.
• Inspect welded components to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards.
• Maintain and repair welding equipment and machinery.
• Ensure that all maintenance, manufacturing, installation, repairs, and projects are completed safely and efficiently to ensure maximum reliability and uptime.
• Meet set work targets for daily work group activities in accordance with applicable policies and procedures.
• Achieve results through prioritizing activities, monitoring progress, and holding yourself accountable for the results.
• Motivate yourself and others to overcome obstacles and achieve goals.
• Plan and assist in laying out work for new projects.
• Ensure maximum plant availability and efficiency at all times.
• Demonstrate the ability to work with other disciplines to achieve minimal disruption to plant operating times.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications and Experience
• Full Grade 12 certificate.
• Craft Certificate in Welding or Metal Fabrication.
• Proven experience as a Welder with knowledge of various welding techniques (e.g., MIG, TIG, Stick).
• Must be a member of EIZ.
