JOB DETAILS:
Job Summary:
Operate drilling machines (boomers) to conduct development and production drilling in underground mining operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately drill holes according to the drilling pattern.
- Conduct regular checks and maintenance on the drilling equipment.
- Ensure safe and effective operation in line with mine plans.
- Record daily drilling progress and report any mechanical issues.
Requirements:
- Valid Boomer Operator Certificate.
- 3+ years of experience operating boomers underground.
- Familiarity with different rock types and drilling conditions.
Work Hours: 8
Experience in Months: 36
Level of Education: professional certificate
