Summary

The Brand Coordinator will support the development and execution of MSport’s branding activities in Zambia, with a strong initial focus on market research, competitor analysis, traffic insights, community development, and local brand coordination.

The role will work closely with the Global Brand team, Design team, and Brand teams across other markets to provide local insights and support the localization of MSport’s brand strategy.

As the Zambia market develops, the scope of the role may gradually expand into broader campaign execution, partnerships, offline activations, and other local branding initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular research on Zambia’s sports betting market, consumer trends, digital landscape, media environment, and relevant industry developments.
  • Monitor and analyse competitors’ campaigns, promotions, partnerships, digital activities, traffic performance, and overall brand presence.
  • Identify relevant local websites, forums, communities, social platforms, and digital channels where MSport’s target audience is active.
  • Support the creation, development, and ongoing management of MSport-related forums and online communities.
  • Monitor local audience conversations, user feedback, brand mentions, and emerging trends, and provide useful insights to the Global Brand team.
  • Work closely with the Global Brand team, Design team, and Brand teams in other markets to coordinate local creative requirements, campaign materials, and market insights.
  • Prepare regular market, competitor, traffic, and community performance updates with clear observations and recommendations.
  • Support the localization and execution of brand campaigns and marketing activities in Zambia when required.
  • Identify potential local media, creators, vendors, communities, and partnership opportunities for future brand development.
  • Support future offline activations, outdoor advertising, partnerships, and local brand activities as the market develops.
  • Provide timely progress updates, respond to work-related communication within a reasonable timeframe, and proactively flag delays, risks, or support required.

Job Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in marketing, branding, digital marketing, community management, market research, or a related field.
  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications, Business, Media, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of Zambia’s digital landscape, consumer culture, sports environment, and local market trends.
  • Good research and analytical skills, with the ability to turn information into clear insights and recommendations.
  • Familiarity with social media, online communities, forums, traffic analysis, Google Trends, Similarweb, SEO tools, or related analytics platforms is an advantage.
  • Strong communication, organisational, and follow-up skills.
  • Reliable and responsive, with the ability to work effectively with remote and international teams.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
  • Interest or experience in sports betting, football, sports, or digital entertainment is preferred.
