Job Summary
Business Analyst
We are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and well organized individual to fill a vacancy for the position of Business Analyst.
The ideal candidate will assist Management with planning, analysing and creating financial data. He will also provide insights to help the company make informed financial decisions in investments, budgeting and overall financial strategies
Responsibilities and expectations
- Provide advisory services on tax planning and compliance
- Lead external audits and tax audits
- Provide clear and concise audits reports with recommendations
- Analyse financial statements and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
- Identify process gaps and recommend improvements for better financial governance
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to streamline audits processes
- Assist in Bank and other statutory audits
- Plan, implement,monitor and upgrade security measures for the protection of the organization’s Data
- Provide Management with detailed financial reports and forecasts
- Assist in budget preparation and variance analysis
- Conduct training sessions on financial systems to junior staff
Requirements:
- Candidates should have a relevant University Degree with ZAQA verified qualification.
- ZICA membership is a must.
- A Master’s Degree or equivalent is an added advantage
- Fluent with various accounting software
- Fluent with Big Data analysis and financial modelling
- Excellent organizational and leadership ability
- Ability to work independently as well with a big team
- Outstanding communication and negotiation skills
- Strong ethics and inter-personal skills.
