Zambia-China Economic & Trade Cooperation Zone Development Limited (ZCCZ). ZCCZ Development Ltd. is the developer of ZCCZ, which is the 1st declared MFEZ in Zambia by Zambian government. We are working to develop two Multi-Functional Economic Zones in both Chambishi and Lusaka through construction of infrastructure and attraction of Foreign Direct investment.
Responsibilities
1. Mount cameras and run wiring (coaxial, UTP, or fiber) in various indoor/outdoor environments.
2. Set up recording equipment such as DVRs (Digital Video Recorders), NVRs (Network Video Recorders), and monitoring displays.
3. Link systems to networks for live monitoring and playback.
4. Clean lenses and housings, check cable integrity, and ensure recordings are being saved correctly.
5. Diagnose faults such as video loss, poor image quality, or network issues.
6. Test camera angles, coverage areas, and night vision functionality.
7. Ensure systems meet security regulations
8. Conduct security assessments to determine camera locations and types.
Required skills
- Ability to install, align, and calibrate cameras
- Understanding of IP addressing, LAN/WAN, and remote access setup.
- Diagnosing signal loss, image quality issues, power failures, or software errors.
- Communication skills, ability to interact with other skilled trade professionals.
- Use of testing equipment and hand tools.
Qualifications
- Must have a full grade 12 certificate
- A Diploma in Electronics and Telecommunications.
- Information and Communications Technology (ICT) background is an added advantage
- Physical fitness to climb ladders, carry equipment, and work in various environments
