The National Legal Aid Clinic for Women (NLACW) is a Project of the Law Association of Zambia (LAZ), which was established to provide affordable legal aid to women and children from marginalized social sectors.  The overall objective of the NLACW is to empower women by facilitating their access to legal rights by way of legal representation, counselling, legal and human rights education as a distinct but integral part of the women’s movement.

Scope of Services

NLACW is looking for suitable companies to submit bids for the provision of professional security services at its offices located in Lusaka, Ndola and Livingstone.

The successful contractor will be expected to provide the following:

·       24/7 security personnel at designated office locations

·       Access control and visitor management

·       Surveillance monitoring and incident reporting

·       Guard against incidence of theft and other misdemeanors which may constitute breach of peace and order at NLACW premises

·       Emergency response and first aid support

·       Regular patrols and security inspections

·       Strictly observe, enforce and adhere to NLACW’s rules and regulations as it applies to the security and well-being of its properties, employees and clients.

·       Protect NLACW, its employees and clients against unauthorized intrusion.

·       Strictly maintain official logbook or record of all incoming and outgoing vehicles, movements, properties among others.

·       During and after office hours, conduct routine patrol or inspection of the premises and report unusual activities or threat to security, to the designated officer.

Eligibility Criteria

Interested firms must meet the following minimum requirements:

·       Valid PACRA registration

·       Minimum of three (3) years’ experience providing security services to corporate and government entities

·       Adequately trained and certified security personnel

·       Valid insurance coverage

·       Strong references from atleast three (3) current or previous clients.

·       Valid ZRA Tax Clearance Certificate
