Camp Manager
Our client in the hospitality industry seeks to recruit a dynamic and experienced Camp Manager to manage one of it’s properties. The ideal candidate will have to manage the overall responsibilities of all departments.
Reporting structure
Reporting To: CEO
Interacts With: Clients, Suppliers, Staff and Customers
Job description
• Make every guest’s visit to it’s properties a “5 star” safari experience
• Required to oversee the general efficiency of every department
• Ensuring that the relevant staff comply with their own duties and areas of responsibility
• Manage the property
• Manage, train and mentor wait staff and housekeepers to excel to an even higher standard.
• Co-ordinate with the head chef, kitchen team and wait staff to deliver a high standard of presentation
• Planning, budgeting, and departmental administration

Candidate specification
• Experience: 3 years plus
• Education Level: Diploma Level
• Qualifications: Hospitality
• Software: MS Office
• Equipment: Work related
• Knowledge Of: Efficient knowledge on a hotel PMS (ResRequest or Nightsbridge)
• Skills To: Creating, implementing, and maintaining written control documents
• Ability To: Coordinate with the head chef, kitchen team and wait staff to deliver a high standard of presentation
Other Requirements: Experience in similar international client-based lodge/camp is required
