JOB DETAILS:
Location: Lusaka
Position Type: Full-Time
We are looking for a dedicated Carpentry and Joinery Instructor/Lecturer to train students in woodworking, furniture making, and joinery skills in a vocational setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver lessons in carpentry and joinery, both theory and practice
- Guide students in the safe use of tools and machines
- Evaluate student progress and maintain records
- Ensure workshop safety and maintenance
Qualifications and Skills:
- Full Grade 12 Certificate
- Diploma or higher in Carpentry, Wood Technology, or related field
- TEVETA Trainer/Assessor Accreditation (mandatory)
- At least 5 years’ hands-on experience in carpentry/joinery
- Teaching Methodology Certificate is an added advantage
Work Hours: 8
Experience in Months: 60
Level of Education: associate degree
