Background

Syringa Enterprise Ltd is seeking a dedicated and experienced Cattle Ranch Manager to oversee our livestock operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for the daily management of the herd, pasture health, facility maintenance, and team leadership. We are looking for a detail-oriented professional who is committed to high standards of animal welfare, operational efficiency, and sustainable ranching practices.

Key Responsibilities

Livestock Management: Oversee all aspects of herd health, including breeding programs, calving, nutrition, and disease prevention/treatment. Maintain accurate records of cattle inventory and health history.

Operations & Planning: Implement grazing rotations, manage supplemental feeding programs, and coordinate with veterinarians and industry specialists to ensure optimal growth and productivity.

Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and schedule ranch hands. Foster a safe, collaborative, and productive work environment.

Property & Asset Maintenance: Ensure the maintenance of fences, water systems, shelters, and farm machinery (e.g., tractors, implements). Conduct regular inspections to identify and resolve maintenance issues promptly.

Financial & Administrative Oversight: Manage the operational budget, track expenses, and assist in purchasing supplies. Maintain detailed work reports, production audits, and compliance documentation.

Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all operations strictly adhere to local agricultural regulations, safety standards, and environmental laws.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Experience: Minimum 5 years of proven experience in cattle production or large-scale livestock management.

Knowledge: In-depth understanding of animal husbandry, cattle nutrition, veterinary practices, and pasture management.

Technical Aptitude: Demonstrated ability to operate and perform routine maintenance on farm machinery and irrigation systems.

Leadership: Strong communication and team management skills, with the ability to provide clear direction and resolve interpersonal or operational conflicts.

Business Acumen: Proficiency in record-keeping, basic financial management, and computer literacy

Physical Requirements: Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks associated with ranching.
