Our client is a Church is seeking to recruit an experienced Chartered Accountant to manage its financial operations and ensure sound stewardship of resources.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and statements.
• Produce monthly management accounts and periodic financial reports.
• Manage budgets, monitor expenditure, and advise leadership on financial performance.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (ZRA, NAPSA, NHIMA etc.).
• Reconcile bank accounts and oversee cash flow management.
• Support financial planning for church projects and events.
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold integrity in all financial dealings.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum of a Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of accounting experience, preferably including preparation of management accounts.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Palladium, Sage, QuickBooks, or Pastel).
• Must be excellent with the use of excel.
• Strong analytical, reporting, and organisational skills.
• Preferably resides in or near Meanwood Ibex or be willing to commute easily to the area.
• Must be a member of ZICA.
