Location: Nakonde Border Station

Position: Clearing Clerk

Reporting Line: Reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer (COO)

Key Responsibilities:

Handle customs clearance documentation for imports and exports

Prepare and submit ASYCUDA World declarations accurately and on time

Create and manage sub-contract entries and generate business through sub-contract clearances

Liaise with ZRA, border officials, and other stakeholders

Track consignments and resolve clearance-related issues

Maintain accurate clearance records and reports

Requirements:

Must be based in Nakonde

Minimum Grade 12 Certificate

Proven expertise in ASYCUDA World declaration (mandatory)

Ability to create business through sub-contract entries

Certificate or strong experience in Clearing & Forwarding

In-depth knowledge of border clearance procedures

Honest, reliable, and able to work under pressure

Previous Nakonde/border station experience is a strong advantage
