Our client, a leading company in the agro-processing sector in ZAMBIA, is seeking to recruit an experienced and commercially driven Commercial Data Analyst

Responsibilities or duties

• Analyse sales performance data and prepare insightful reports to support business decision-making.
• Monitor sales volumes, revenue, pricing and profitability to maximise commercial performance.
• Support forecasting, budgeting and demand planning to ensure optimal product availability.
• Monitor and control departmental costs while promoting operational efficiency.
• Evaluate inventory levels, product pricing, promotions and discount strategies to improve profitability.
• Gather and analyse market intelligence, identifying trends and providing actionable recommendations.
• Prepare accurate daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual commercial performance reports for management.

Qualifications or requirements

• Grade 12 Certificate.
• Diploma in Accountancy, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong data analysis and reporting skills.
• Excellent communication, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail, integrity and the ability to work under pressure while meeting deadlines.

Experience needed

• Minimum 4 years' experience in commercial analytics, sales planning, business analysis or a similar analytical role.
