JOB DETAILS:
Lochey Industrial and Management Training Institute is a fast-growing vocational and technical training institution committed to equipping learners with practical skills for the 21st-century job market. We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Computer Trainer to join our team in Kalumbila district.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver hands-on training in computer short courses, focusing on Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook).
- Prepare lesson plans, training materials, and assessment tools.
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback.
- Maintain records of student attendance and performance.
- Ensure all training is aligned with TEVETA standards and industry best practices.
- Provide basic support and guidance to students on computer-related issues.
Requirements:
- Must be a Zambian citizen, aged between 20 and 40 years.
- Minimum Diploma in ICT, IMIS, or any equivalent qualification in
- Information Technology or Computer Science.
- At least 2 years of experience as a Computer Trainer or ICT Instructor.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and general computer literacy.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a classroom environment effectively.
Added Advantage:
- Experience working in a vocational training institution.
- Knowledge of online training tools and basic computer troubleshooting.
- TEVETA registration or certification as a trainer.
