Position Overview:
We are looking for two highly observant and dependable Control Room Operators to join our Lusaka team. This role is vital to ensure the safe and efficient coordination of convoy security escorts on our Southbound routes. The successful candidates will be responsible for:
- Monitoring convoy movements using surveillance and GPS systems
- Responding efficiently and effectively to emergencies and escalate issues when required
- Documenting incidents and maintain accurate reports
- Ensuring real-time communication with on-ground security teams,
Candidate Attributes:
- Strong multitasking and communication skills
- Composed, decisive under pressure, exceptional attention to detail and focus
- Organized with good reporting and documentation abilities
- Ability to remain alert and focused for extended periods.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including night shifts, weekends and public holidays.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum of Certificate/Diploma in Security Management, Information Technology, or a related discipline
- Prior experience in a control room, dispatch center, or transport security role
- Proficiency in using surveillance tools, GPS tracking systems, and emergency protocols
- Basic computer skills, particularly with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
