Job Purpose
Reporting to the Superintendent, the Coordinator, works with the Technical advisors and foremen to coordinate the execution of Maintenance works on the Mining Hitachi Trucks. The coordinator must champion the maintenance planning on the fleet.

Key Responsibilities
• Must be able to run maintenance works in the workshop and pit area, ensuring all parts and materials are available.
• Searches and sorts through the CMMS backlog to ensure all identified backlog work is included in the scheduled planned work.
• Monitor warehouse stock levels and Prioritize tasks when planning corrective and Preventive maintenance works.
• Organizes all resources required to execute the maintenance, including in-house labour, contractors, tech support, rental equipment, specialty tools, consumables, etc.
• Identifies any potential consumable materials issues and works with supply chain to ensure everything required is on site prior to maintenance work.
• Ensure all planned works are done and closed out in the CMMS system.
• Understands and complies with all company policies and procedures.
• Coordinate team to ensure all safety compliance targets are met.
• Ensure all legal appointments in the section are done in the Mining regulation logbook.
• Recognize and celebrate achievements and success in the team; provide candid feedback, engage at all levels and lead with a People First mindset.
• Implement and monitor the Health, Safety and Training Management System ensuring compliance to relevant Policies, Standards & Procedures
• Maintain a pro-active approach to all aspects of operational and behavioural safety and encourage teamwork within the department in line with FQMO company values.
• Ensure that the focus of training is principally on safety.
• Proactively confront others about safety and security violations
• Other duties as given by Supervisor.

Qualifications
• Minimum Grade 12 Certificate
• A minimum of an advanced Certificate in HER
• A Degree in Mechanical Engineering will be an added advantage.
• Valid Driving License class B manual or better
• Holder of current Valid EIZ membership
• Registered Engineer with Engineering Registration Board ERB
• Ability to hold a MR207 or 210(1b) Appointment.

Experience
• Ability to read and understand mechanical detail drawings, technical instructions manuals, parts books.
• A minimum of Ten (10) years’ experience in Mobile Maintenance and H.E.R
• Ability to Generate and use Reports made in Power BI.
• Ability to Prepare Project Plans and Monitor Progress.
• Demonstrable Experience leading Teams of Artisans and Technicians in maintenance works.
• Ability to understand and interpret oil laboratory analysis results.
• Experience in Condition based Maintenance.
• knowledge of Microsoft Office products including MS Projects and CMMS software such as PRONTO.
• Self-motivated, team player with a positive attitude and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Experience in performing RCFAs and ICAMs.
• Experience with Leadership training programs will be an added advantage.
• Experience with Hitachi and Caterpillar Trucks will be an added advantage.
