About the Role: Corporate Sales Executive Jobs in Lusaka
This role is designed for a proactive new business hunter who will identify, engage, and close corporate clients while nurturing those partnerships into long-term accounts. As a Corporate Sales Executive, you will represent Cosmic’s comprehensive portfolio, including IT equipment, infrastructure, and Managed Services, targeting organisations ready to collaborate with a trusted technology provider. You will take full ownership of building your sales pipeline through active outreach rather than waiting for inbound leads.
Key Responsibilities
New Business Development: Manage the entire sales cycle—from researching prospects and initiating contact to presenting solutions, negotiating, and closing contracts.
- Develop and maintain a structured sales pipeline across corporate, government, NGO, and SME sectors.
- Conduct consistent outreach via cold calls, LinkedIn, referrals, networking events, and field visits.
- Achieve and surpass monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
Consultative Selling: Understand each client’s business challenges to propose tailored IT solutions that deliver clear business value, including productivity gains, cost savings, and reliability.
- Communicate confidently about IT infrastructure, device procurement, and Managed Services without requiring technical expertise.
- Prepare customized proposals and presentations to address client needs.
Relationship Management: Establish yourself as a trusted advisor rather than just a vendor by maintaining regular client contact through check-ins and quarterly reviews.
- Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts.
- Promptly escalate and resolve technical or delivery issues on behalf of clients.
Sales Operations:
- Keep CRM data current with pipeline updates, activities, notes, and forecasts.
- Collaborate with Marketing to align outreach efforts with campaigns.
- Report weekly on pipeline health, sales activity, and revenue progress to leadership.

- Proven success in acquiring new clients and consistently meeting sales targets; be prepared to discuss your achievements.
- Strong skills in presentation, negotiation, and closing sales.
- An existing network of corporate or business contacts in Lusaka is a significant advantage.
- Degree or diploma in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related discipline preferred.
- Proficiency with CRM software, Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), and Zoom.
- Experience with Salesforce is advantageous.
