Role Overview:
We are seeking a Country Security Officer to support the implementation of Mary’s Meals’ Security Management System in Zambia. The role ensures staff, assets, and programmes are protected by enforcing security policies and procedures, monitoring risks, and building strong relationships with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with security policies and standard operating procedures.
- Monitor the security of assets, vehicles, and facilities.
- Conduct inspections, site visits, and audits to identify and address risks.
- Provide security training and briefings to staff and visitors.
- Support incident management and reporting.
- Build and maintain relationships with local authorities, law enforcement, and communities.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
- Diploma in security management or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Previous experience in security operations.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Valid manual driving licence
- Fluent written and spoken English.
- Computer literacy (Microsoft Office).
- Flexible, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
