Background
BOFAR MACHINERY EQUIPMENT ZAMBIA LIMITED is looking to fill the following vacancies to join our productive team of skilled personnel.
Responsibilities
- Operate mobile or fixed cranes to lift, move, position, and place heavy equipment, materials, and machinery at construction or industrial sites.
- Interpret load charts, rigging diagrams, and hand signals to determine safe lifting capacities and proper rigging configurations for each lift.
- Conduct daily crane inspections, checking cables, hooks, slings, outriggers, brakes, and control systems to ensure optimal operating condition.
- Plan lifting operations in collaboration with site supervisors and riggers, assessing ground conditions, overhead obstructions, and weather factors.
- Maintain precise control of crane movements, including boom elevation, swing, and hoisting, to ensure accurate placement of loads.
- Keep comprehensive daily operation logs, including lift records, maintenance checks, inspection findings, and any incidents or near-misses.
- Supervise and direct ground crew during lifting operations, ensuring all personnel maintain safe distances and follow established safety protocols.

- AGE 25-35 YEARS
