Customer Service/Cashier Agent
Overview
Established in 2016, Online Express Ltd, has been offering ecommerce postal services the UK, USA, Europe, and China. We are a licensed international and domestic postal courier company under the Laws of the Republic of Zambia, and we are looking for a Cashier to manage all transactions with customers accurately and efficiently.
Cashier/Customer Service responsibilities include receiving payments and issuing receipts and keeping track of all cash and transactions. To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience in a customer service position and good knowledge of how cash registers operate. You should also be available to work on weekends as well.
Ultimately, you’ll ensure all transactions run smoothly and will help us maximize customer satisfaction.

Cashier/Customer Service responsibilities include:
• Manage transactions with customers using set up systems
• Scan goods and ensure pricing is accurate
• Collect payments whether in cash or credit/debit card
• Issue receipts, refunds, or change
• Cross-sell products and introduce new ones
• Resolve customer complaints, guide them, and provide relevant information
• Greet customers when entering or leaving the office
• Maintain clean and tidy counter areas
• Track transactions on balance sheets and report any discrepancies
• Handle parcels with care

Requirements and skills:
• Work experience as a Cashier/Sales in fast moving goods environment
• Basic PC knowledge
• Familiarity with electronic equipment, like cash register and POS
• Good math skills
• Strong communication and time management skills
• Customer satisfaction-oriented
• Diploma in Business Related Course/Accounting Field
