JOB DETAILS:
Data Cleansing Analyst
Date: 14-Mar-2022
Location: Flexible, Flexible
Company: Plan International

The Organisation
Plan International is an independent development and humanitarian organisation that advances children’s rights and equality for girls.
We believe in the power and potential of every child. But this is often suppressed by poverty, violence, exclusion and discrimination. And it’s girls who are most affected.
Working together with children, young people, our supporters and partners, we strive for a just world, tackling the root causes of the challenges facing girls and all vulnerable children.
We support children’s rights from birth until they reach adulthood. And we enable children to prepare for – and respond to – crises and adversity. We drive changes in practice and policy at local, national and global levels using our reach, experience and knowledge.
We have been building powerful partnerships for children for over 80 years, and are now active in more than 70 countries.

The Opportunity
Plan International is undertaking a major technology and business transformation programme (Programme Y.O.D.A.) involving the implementation of new enterprise resource planning (ERP), which includes Finance and Supply Chain, project management for the purposes of tracking execution of grant and sponsorship funded development programmes and monitoring and evaluation systems reporting on the outcomes and impact of our work.
The role of the Data Cleansing Analyst is a very exciting new opportunity to work globally across Plan International and our 55 country offices (spread over Asia Pacific, Africa, Middle East and the Americas) to ensure that our data is in a great state to be migrated onto our new Y.O.D.A systems.
Reporting to the Deployment Execution Programme Manager, you will work with a diverse team of passionate people to first extract and analyse data and then support, communicate and update our country offices on a monthly basis to ensure we are making progress and are in a stable state to transform our global systems (which will be a staggered deployment approach of country offices over the course of a year).
The role is a fantastic opportunity to work in a complex, global environment with a dedicated team and making a difference to Plan’s humanitarian initiatives.
The Individual
The successful candidate will be proficient in Power BI as well as Excel and Outlook with strong written and verbal communication skills. They will be a proactive problem solver who is passionate about Plan International’s mission.
It is desirable that they have knowledge or experience of SQL, although this is not essential as this can be learnt ‘on the job’ if required, however a willingness to learn and develop is key.
