SERENJE TOWN COUNCIL intends to recruit 42 data entry clerks (2 in each of the 21 wards) under the Revised Cash for Work (R- CFW) Programme. In this regard, we hereby invite applications from suitably qualified, motivated, and result-oriented individuals to fill the position of Data Entry Clerk. The successful candidates will report to the Programme Coordinator – Director Community Services.

  • Accurately capture, update, and maintain beneficiary and project data in designated systems and databases.
  • Verify and validate data for completeness and accuracy.
  • Compile daily, weekly, and monthly data reports as required.
  • Maintain both electronic and physical records of project documentation.
  • Ensure confidentiality and secure handling of sensitive beneficiary information.
  • Support field verification exercises where necessary.
  • Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the Programme Coordinator – Director Community Services.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Good typing speed with high accuracy levels.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Grade 12 School Certificate with 5 O' Levels including English and Mathematics.
  • Certificate or Diploma in ICT, Computer Studies, Information Systems, Public Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience in data entry or administrative work will be an added advantage.
