JOB DETAILS:
The Dean will provide strategic leadership to the Faculty of Nursing, ensuring academic excellence, compliance with regulatory standards, and alignment with the university’s mission and vision.

Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee curriculum development, implementation, and review to ensure relevance and adherence to academic and professional standards.
• Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities for faculty members.
• Drive research initiatives within the faculty, promoting publication and innovation.
• Ensure compliance with the Nursing & Midwifery Council of Zambia (NMCZ) regulations.
• Develop strategic partnerships with healthcare institutions for clinical placements and collaborations.
• Lead quality assurance processes for nursing education programs.
• Represent the faculty in university management meetings and external stakeholder engagements.

Qualifications and Requirements:
• Master’s degree in Nursing (PhD preferred).
• Minimum of 5 years of teaching and research experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in academic leadership or management.
• Expertise in curriculum development, research, and mentorship.
• Registered with NMCZ with a valid practicing license.
