Primary Function
Heavy earthmoving, clearing, and push-loading for mass excavation and site preparation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Mass Excavation: Push large volumes of soil, rock, or debris to designated fill areas or stockpiles.
- Clearing & Grubbing: Remove trees, stumps, and topsoil using straight or angle blades; rip compacted ground with ripper attachments.
- Sloping & Benching: Cut slopes, ramps, and bench levels for highway construction or mining pits according to engineered plans.
- Push-Loading: Assist scrapers or loaders by pushing material into their bowls/buckets to increase production efficiency.
- Track Care: Monitor undercarriage (tracks, rollers, sprockets) for wear and tension; grease pivot points daily.
- Ground Assessment: Evaluate ground stability to avoid bogging down or rollover, particularly on soft or muddy terrain.
Applicants must meet the following minimum criteria:
- Basic literacy skills (ability to read and write).
- Proven knowledge and hands-on experience operating any of the specified machinery.
- Multi-skilled operators with experience on multiple equipment types will be given preference.
- At least two years of practical experience in agricultural-related heavy equipment operations.
Traceable professional references to verify work history and competence.
Equipment Models You May Operate
Successful candidates will be expected to operate the following machinery models:
Dozer: Komatsu D85 and D155
- Push large volumes of soil, rock, or debris to designated fill areas or stockpiles.
- Remove trees, stumps, and topsoil using straight or angle blades; rip compacted ground with ripper attachments.
- Cut slopes, ramps, and bench levels for highway construction or mining pits according to engineered plans.
