Job Description
Lumwana Mining Company seeks to recruit a highly committed employee for the position of Drilling Supervisor to join the Mineral Resources Department. We are in search of an individual who can champion Barrick’s DNA by:

Reporting to the Operations Geologists, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing daily drilling activities, ensuring they align with project objectives and safety standards, while focusing on operational efficiency and data accuracy.
Your duties will include but are not limited to the following:
- Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly planning meetings to ensure alignment with project goals.
- Perform routine inspections of equipment and work areas to maintain operational safety and efficiency.
- Report all incidents, and assist in investigations, ensuring completion of corrective actions as per policy.
- Support drilling operations by troubleshooting technical issues and liaising with the maintenance team for equipment repairs.
To be considered for the position, you must meet the following requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in drilling operations, with at least 1 years in a supervisory capacity.
- Drilling Engineering/management, Geology or Mining degree
- Familiarity with RC and DD rigs, pad preparation processes, and earthwork supervision.
- Demonstrated knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations within the mining industry.
- Proficiency in data management, reporting, and MS Office software.
- Should have drilling management training from Collin rice
